Co-Founder Receives Conviction Award From The Campaign for Black Male Achievement.
At this year's Rumble Young Man Rumble convening in Louisville Kentucky, our co-founder, Dr. Torie Weiston-Serdan is recognized by fellow "Rumblers".
This is the Youth Mentoring Action Network's 4th Rumble and this unexpected award from a community of thinkers and doers made it one of the most memorable ones.
"So surprised, happy and proud to have received the Conviction Award from the Campaign for Black Male Achievement. It’s always a real honor when the folks who are actually in the work, see and honor good work".
Ali's Six Core Principles are at the heart of the Rumble Young Man Rumble convening, an annual summit that brings together national leaders who are focused on improving the lives of Black men and boys. Conviction is "a firm belief that gives one the courage to stand behind that belief, despite pressure to do otherwise".
The Youth Mentoring Action Network is honored to have our work recognized by such incredible community partners. You can see the trophy proudly displayed in our office.
